Flamstead Fun
At 2:30pm on Sunday August 19th, KJF joined in Flamstead's annual Scarecrow Festival.
Not dressed as scarecrows, but providing entertainment for those out to shop at the stalls and to view the villagers' creations, of which there were many clever variations on the traditional scarecrow.
My favourite had to be the clerical creation, seen clinging to the church tower...
We also had the welcome benefit of some free advertising on Friday, in the form of Nick Coffer of BBC Three Counties' Radio.
